New Scientist has been given exclusive access to an exclusive Scientology film, Watch Out For The Church of Smith & Wesson, which stars Jared Leto and includes scenes from the upcoming Scientology movie, Scientology: Scientology.
The film also stars David Thewlis as Scientology’s founder, L. Ron Hubbard, as well as other key players including actor Josh Brolin and actor Tom Cruise.
Thewls previous role in the film was that of a church chaplain in The Church Of Scientology, an organisation with a cultish reputation that’s still active.
The Church is known for its controversial practices, such as the use of physical and mental abuse against Scientologists.
Watch Out features a number of scenes from Scientology: Scientologists controversial past It also features a scene where the character of L.
Ron Hubbard (Josh Brolin) is shown being tortured by his Scientologists for information about Scientology.
Brolin, who previously starred in the cult drama, The Last Samurai, said he had previously worked on the film and was shocked by what he saw.
‘I’m so shocked to see this, and I just wanted to be a part of it,’ he told New Scientist.
‘It’s absolutely shocking to see these things.
I don’t know what they are thinking about it or what they’re trying to achieve, but it’s totally outrageous.’
This is the kind of stuff that is supposed to be part of our religion, and these things have happened.’
Thewles own character is called L. RON HOLLYWOOD.
He plays a character called LORRIAN, a character who has been tortured for information on Scientology.
‘That’s kind of the theme of Watch Out,’ he said.
‘We were never supposed to have a story of L Ron Hubbard in the first place.
We’re not supposed to know his name.’
‘It was an idea that I had, it was something I’d always had in my head, and then this happened, and it’s the first time I’ve ever been able to put it into action.’
Brolin said the scene was ‘a bit of a stretch’.
‘I know L.R. is very much a character in Watch Out, but L. L. is just a character,’ he added.
‘L.
Ron was always supposed to make it, L R.L. was always going to make the show, L L.
L is going to be L. A. Ron is never going to have any contact with the real L Ron.’
Brolin said it was an emotional scene for him to see the character he played tortured, and the fact that the actor had previously acted on the show.
‘The moment was definitely one of the best parts of the entire movie,’ he revealed.
‘This was a huge moment, and to see Josh Brolins character tortured in a way, and a character I played on The Last Sword in a very emotional way.
‘There was a lot of shock in my voice.
It was a real emotional scene to watch, and hopefully I can help the people who are watching the film in some way.’
WATCH OUT for the Scientology film Watch Out is set for release on August 14, 2017.
It will feature scenes from The Church’s upcoming film, Scientology, as seen in Watch It: Scientology: The Church Behind The Mask.
